People just started to connect the Bose home theatre with these products as a result of print, internet and radio ads that are played constantly.

Choosing A Bose Home theatre

So is a Bose home theatre system a good purchase option. Many choose to purchase a Bose home theatre system because it has been constantly advertised as an excellent surround sound system and often times the size of their speakers helps to seal the deal. Although if you want truly good sound quality then you should look for other options in home theatre sound systems. Although for some a Bose home theatre sound system is still a good option. So if you decide on this system then how do you set it up once you get it home.

Set Up

One aspect that has become linked to a Bose home theatre is the sleek appearance of their audio system which is apparent the moment you start to set up the system. While it may seem difficult at first it can actually be moderately easy to set up a Bose home theatre. The first step is to set up your front speakers. You should place them an equal distance from both sides of the television screen. There should be at least three feet between both of the front speakers, but they should also be kept as close to the television screen as possible.

The next step is to set up the Bose home theatre Acoustimass center speaker module. You should have this close to your television but you also shouldn’t get the low-end speaker cabinet very close to the television. If this speaker is closer than three feet to the television is can cause interference. Next place the surround sound speakers. The Bose home theatre is best known for their very small and easy to conceal surround sound speakers. Behind the listening area is the best place for these speakers and they should be a little farther apart than the front speakers.

Next you will have to attach the speaker cables unless you have purchased one of the wireless speaker system. Connect the wires to your video system which is a simple process of matching the color from the audio output of the video system to the inputs on your Bose home theatre power amplifier. Finally you should power up the system, but always remember to set the volume to the lowest level before doing this. Then you are ready to enjoy your Bose home theatre system.

Home Theatre Speakers – Finding The Best Placement

April 21, 2008 | Audio Considerations

Home theatre speakers should be chosen wisely since they can literally provide you with a heart pounding experience. Speaker placement and layout is an important part of getting the most out of your home theatre experience. Improper placement of home theatre speakers can lead to an annoying lack of sound balance.

The goal of proper speaker placement is to have smooth and precise sound which will envelope you without drawing your attention to one speaker over the other. With the proper placement of your home theatre speakers you can transform your theatre room into an extraordinary sound experience.

When placing speakers in a home theatre you need to remember that the front speakers which are on the left and the right are where the majority of the sound will come from. The other home theatre speakers need to be placed so that they blend with the front speakers without having loud sound glaring out of just one.

All of your home theatre speakers must be able to work together to provide the room with the surround sound experience. They also must have balance in order to provide all of those special effects which are felt in the professional movie theatres. It is important for you to choose speakers that match together since this is the only way to achieve the clarity desired for a home theatre.

Room Size Determines Speaker Size

If you have a large room you will need to buy a speaker system that matches the size of the room. If you have a large room with tall ceilings you might want to consider a tower speaker system. There are many factors in the room that will determine the quality of the sound. Carpet will absorb sound as well as sheet rock walls. High ceilings require a larger speaker system because of the increased size of the area. Four high quality towers can provide an increase in the clarity of the sound. Towers are usually not suitable for smaller rooms since they take up more space than traditional speakers.

Home theatre speakers known as bookshelf speakers will not provide the greatest sound for bass but they can still add a high quality sound for a smaller room. They are also suitable for entertainment centers since they are smaller in size than the tower speakers.

Wall mounted speakers can also be paired up with a subwoofer to provide a great sound for small rooms. Wall mounted speakers also take up less space since they can be mounted near the ceiling and out of the way.

When using home theatre speakers please keep in mind how close your neighbors are and how well the sound travels from your house. Some of these systems produce a large volume of sound which could be disturbing to your neighbors.
